12/5/11 7th Annual Bowlathon gets an A+

Fall has come and gone and snowflakes are in the air – and Vital Voices 7th Annual Bowlathon has proven to be another big success. Thanks to all of our friends, families and faithful donors – we hosted 43 top-notch bowlers, gave out lots of door prizes and raised over $6,000 for our advocacy work.

New this year was a raffle which was a big hit! Participants were invited to buy raffle tickets at 3 for $5 or an arm's length for $10. Of course, those with really long arms benefited the most! And one of our most favored events, the silent auction, returned for another year to everyone's enjoyment.

All in all, it was a lot of fun and a great success. Thanks once again to our many donors, participants and volunteers. Watch for more details in our January 2012 newsletter coming out next month.
